Frostburg United Methodist Church seeks Music Ministries Staff

Possibilities for the position(s) include, but are not limited to:

• Separate accompanist and director positions

• Combined accompanist and director positions

• Some other staffing configuration that fulfills our needs

 

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and education. If this position is split between two or more people, the total would be allocated among positions.

 

Work Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week. Sunday worship and regular choir/handbells rehearsals are the only regularly scheduled in-person requirements. If the position is split between two people, the hours would be adjusted.

 

Qualifications: College degree in a related field, with Master’s degree in related field is preferred, but not required. Experience working in church settings, specifically worship accompaniment and choir accompaniment/directing is preferred, but not required.

 

Supervisor: This/these position(s) reports to the Senior Pastor.

 

Other information: Preferred start date December 15, 2025. We will consider a later start date for the right candidate, if necessary, but prefer no later than January 15, 2026.
