Alternative Worship Service

Frostburg UMC- Alternative Worship

Bring your family, friends, coffee mug, and wear your jeans as we seek to encounter and grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

The alternative service at FUMC has been specifically designed to help people encounter Jesus Christ through our songs, prayers, and messages. The "come as you are" atmosphere is just one way in which our church wants to remind you that Jesus was and is one of us. It does not matter what we wear, where we are from, or what we have done. Jesus meets us as we are and seeks to establish a relationship with all people. FUMC invites you to join us for our 9:00 AM alternative service!

Children are invited to join us for service. We do have nursery and Sunday school for children newborn to middle school age from 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM. Parents are invited to sign their children in and out of their classes. Children who wish to attend Sunday School will be dismissed at approximatley 9:15 AM from the alternative service to go with their teachers to their classrooms.

All are welcome.

Traditional Worship Service

Frostburg UMC- Traditional Worship

Come encounter God through music, word, prayer, and more in our 11:00 AM traditional worship service.

FUMC is humbled to worship in a beautiful space with warm and welcoming people who are devoted to learning and growing in their Christian walk together. Within the traditional service you will be offered a time to prepare your hearts and minds to hear God's word through prayers and songs; you will be invited to listen to God's word as found in scripture and explained through the pastor's meditation; and you will be encouraged to respond to God's word by giving your hearts and lives to God within the worship service and as you leave to encounter the the rest of your week. Join us to be inspired, refreshed, and made new by Jesus Christ.

Children are invited to join us for this service. We do, however, offer nursery services for babies and children who would be more comfortable playing with our warm and professional nursery leaders.

All are welcome.
